The Original Veiled Virgin is a Carrara marble statue carved in Rome by Italian sculptor Giovanni Strazza (1818–1875) depicting the bust of a veiled Virgin Mary. The exact date of the statue's completion is unknown, but it was probably in the early 1850s.
I started making this statue 1 year ago. I'm mixing marble powder and resin to pour this statue. All details are handcrafted and hand painted. I have couple of color options for you. Please let me know about any customization.

The raw material of the products is marble powder. Its mortar is formed by mixing with the binding resin.
Please Note: Due to the nature of handmade items, slight differences in colors and shapes may occur from the images. There may be some holes bubbles and pin holes but they are minimum.
